Despite a slowdown in growth projections, the BFSI vertical of the outsourcing market has seen a growth. It’s good news for the industry that has been dogged by Obama’s administration in the near past.

I understand that is causes the loss of jobs, but are there other reasons it can be bad for the US and its economy, and how can outsourcing actually be bad for the companies and other aspects? I have read in many places that it can actually be good, by allowing businesses to grow and beat the competition of other countries, as well as it causes prices to be lower for the consumer.

Do we really need to be importing unskilled workers from third world countries when either Americans or outsourcing could fill those positions.
Does open immigration make America weak?
Fred: Marrying a foreigner and giving them citizenship is fine, but allowing that person’s whole family to come live in the US regardless if whether or not they contribute to the economy is nonsense.
Marry your vietnamese girl and allow her an American visa but don’t let her bring mom, dad and sixty cousins to the U.S. too. That’s lunacy.

Ok. We all agree that "big business" is here for the money and nothing more. So, when they can’t make big profits by exploiting undocumented workers (who presumably will work for little to nothing), how many of these companies will simply move production over seas? And, when they do, how will that affect our economy?
Nearly 2 years ago, my husband became obsessed with only buying items made in the USA. YOU would be amazed at how few things we could find. Clothing is nearly entirely made elsewhere. We even tried Farm & Fleet (farmer store) and they only have 1 brand (Carthall?) that is made here. WE looked at Wal-mart (thinking they spouted american slogans) and found nothing. Nothing made in the US. what do you think?

The middle class is being destroyed, there flooding in illegals by not shutting the border and tons of H1 visa workers, we will never be able to compete against China and India with labor cost not to mention monetary exchange rates, we were duped, they said we would sell products all over the world and it would help the economy, we buy and don’t sell, that’s why we have a huge trade deficit, we need to get out of these agreements now.

To me this only seems to help the rich get richer. Also, what about all the IT workers who lose their jobs? How can this help the economy when they are unemployed? Also, what is America going to do in 10 years when we become entirely dependent on India for our technology needs?

It seems to me the economy works like this on a much larger scale. If I have a house building business (example) and someone else who needs a house built would pay me to build his house. I have a job and he has money. Likewise if he has a car building business (example) and I am in need of a car then I would pay him and he would sell me a car. A circle of exchanging money for goods and services. Those factors have not gone away, people still need houses and cars built and are capable of building houses and cars so what is the problem?

I know that it can help their economy, create jobs, etc… But it can’t be so easy can it? I’m mainly wondering if there’s bad things for countries like Mexico or India by taking these outsourced jobs?

If there were more factories in the US, there would be more jobs. More jobs would mean there’d be more consumer money. More consumer money would mean people would consume more. More consumption would lead to a better economy. Is that not fiscally responsible?
Or is outsourcing blamed on the Democrats?
Would it be big government to impose laws against outsourcing?
I work in a small business factory setting. I want factory jobs in America.

Why does the U.S do it? It’s ruining our economy. It’s a huge problem. You guys don’t consider millions of jobs lost to China to be a problem?
